Participants will explore their relationship with their horse while acquiring basic horsemanship skills, and process how these dynamics affect relationships with family, friends, and/or school. Students will participate This course consists of 8 EAPD sessions with private, certified facilitator.

INTRO TO HORSEMANSHIP
Open Enrollment
Participants will be introduced to Equine Assisted Personal Development and discover how EAPD is used to process relational dynamics throughout our everyday lives.
Activity focuses include
safety and positioning, introduction to body language, haltering, walking at a lead, basic ground maneuvers, grooming, stall care & maintenance, feeding, hoof care & ferrier treatments

TRAUMA FOCUSED
AT BAY

"At Bay" is a nautical phrase used to describe a ship anchored in a bay, waiting to enter into a port. Often trauma, addiction, and disruptive lifestyle patterns can keep us in a "waiting area" preventing us from entering into healthier relationships and behaviors.
Participants will explore how relationships with horses can help us process and provide tools for moving past places of trauma, patterns of addiction, codependency, and other behaviors that hold us "at bay" from relational wholeness.
